Senior Software Engineer
Speeddate.com is the world's first online speed dating website, Facebook and iPhone application. It allows users to meet each other through real-time 3-minute online speed dates using webcam, voice or text chat. The website has over 5 million members and averages over 3 million page views per day. Developed backend systems such as monitoring and alerting tools, crons, high volume email systems and other vital system structures using Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP and Memcached. Wrote fast light-weight custom graphing library to visually display usage data using PHP. Designed new email management system using PHP, MySQL and Memcached, that allowed for precise control over what, when and which users received email.
